Things To See and Do In Lanzarote
Aqualava Waterpark
In Playa Blanca, inside the complex Relaxia Lanzasur club, is the newest water park in Lanzarote, with attractions such as: slow river, wave pool, children´s water castles, giant slides, space bowl, fast slides, ramps and slides for children.
Bike Hire
This will give you excellent opportunities to see Playa Blanca at it's best. You can go from the stunning Papagayo beaches in the eastern part of the resort, all the way along past the Lighthouse at Faro park. The roads are reasonably flat, so it's not too strenuous. For those who fancy more of an adventure, you can cycle up to Femes... but this is a testing route, and not for the light hearted.
Papagayo Beaches
No stay in Playa Blanca would be complete without a visit to the Papagayo beaches. These beaches are a great place to escape from it all, far away from the bars and restaurants.
The Marina Rubicon
This is a must to visit with designer shops, restaurants and a craft market twice weekly, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Marina Rubicon is a pleasant stroll from the town a long a lovely seaside path passing the Dorada Beach. At the marina they have some rides (for young children), air hockey tables, mini golf, little rides and trampolines. Ten pin bowling is available upstairs in the Rubimar shopping centre.
Kikoland is a children's park on an area of over 10,000 m². With its sports and leisure facilities, Kikoland is an adventure paradise for children between 0 and 18 years of age, where everyone will find age-appropriate entertainment. Easily accessible from the promenade.
Diving
Dive College Lanzarote is located next to Natura Palace hotel or with the Dive School located at the Marina Rubicon.
A Day Trip
Hop on a ferry to Corralejo, Fuerteventura, at the harbour take a ferry from either Fred Olsen or Armas. Only 25 mins, its a lovely relaxing ferry ride.
Submarine Trips
Available at the harbour, as are various boat and fishing excursions. Stalls are at the ferry to book these
Climb Montana Roja
You can drive almost to the top... and then walk the edge of the crater. Lots of photographic opportunities up there. Avoid when windy though, for safety. Take water, as there is no shop up there.
Timanfaya National Park
One of the islands main attractions. Once inside the park you’ll witness the high temperatures recorded just below the earth’s surface.
Sun, Sea and Sailing
Catlanza SL offer a fabulous day out on board their luxurious catamaran. Swim, snorkel, relax and be pampered by their competent crew.

The wine Museum of Lanzarote is located at the old cellars of the "El Grifo" wineries, which were built over the volcanic lava left from the 18th century eruption.
